This page features links to outside sources with free, full-text or audio versions of books on the internet. We also offer print and other electronic versions of most of the classic works through our library catalogue, but the versions linked here are accessible to anyone, anywhere. Audio Books: LibriVox offers thousands of free audio books that you can download or listen to on your computer (and subsequently your iPod or MP3 player). Online Books: Project Gutenberg offers more than 100,000 works on its Site and through its affiliates. The University of Pennsylvania offers access to more than 30,000 free books through its Online Books Website. Freebooks is a directory of a vast number of other Sites for free books. There are plenty of other great resources for works in the public domain, but many of the links for books listed below are through these Websites. Musical scores and sheet music in the public domain are available also through Project Gutenberg.
