Election process in the spring of the previous year.

 

 

 

Club Description:

The purposes of the Student Senate are: to establish a working relationship between the student body and the administration; to develop a forum for the student voice and channels for student involvement; to provide evidence of good citizenship, scholarship, and leadership; and, to provide orderly direction of school activities. Student Senate sponsors many activities throughout the year, including pep assemblies, Homecoming Parade and Dance, Courtwarming Dance, Mr. Tiger Contest and many other events.

Eligibility Requirements:

Senate members must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA, an A citizenship average, a petition signed by at least 10% of the class, an application and evaluation sheet filled out by the student running for office.
