Science Olympiad

Meetings:

Meetings will be from September to April at LSHS in room A129.

Time Commitment:

There will be after school and at home practices. We compete in two to three Saturday Tournaments.

 

 

 

Club Description:

Students will participate in regional competitions in which students compete in various areas of science. Knowledge events are often specific to chemistry, biology, forensics, physics, astronomy, and earth science. Build-it events my include robots, boomilevers, planes, and egg scramblers.

Eligibility Requirements:

All students are eligible to participate, however those that compete at the regional lever must meet the demands of those events. There is a limit of 15 that can compete per team, but there can also be two teams.

How to Join:

Attend informational meetings at the beginning of the year, or stop by A129 and speak to Mrs. Peachee.
