Meetings:
Meetings take place in the lecture hall on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 7:00 AM. Students should check their planners for the exact dates.

Time Commitment:
Members are required to attend all 30 minute monthly meetings. They are also required to complete 3 service projects during their membership. The time commitment for
the service projects varies by project. If a student misses one meeting,
he or she will need to do an additional service project. If a student
misses two meetings, he or she will need to do two additional service
projects. After three missed meetings, the faculty committee will evaluate
the member's dedication to NHS. If we find it lacking, you will be
dismissed from NHS.

How to Join:
During the 2nd semester of the junior year, students who are interested in joining NHS will be asked to fill out a petition and obtain a letter of recommendation from an adult outside of the R-7 school district. Only juniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 will be given a petition for membership. Students who qualify for membership the fall of their senior year will also be given an opportunity to join using the same process.
