A121 for classes and rehearsals. Students utilize the Library Media Center as well.
Tournaments are held at various schools.
Time Commitment:
Class time if enrolled, Tournament Competitions on weekends (students average 3 tournaments per semester).How to Join:
Enroll in a debate/competitive drama course at LSHS. As part of the course, a student is automatically a member of the competitive team.

Club Description:
Debate is an academic activity that engages students in argumentative competition. The Tiger Debate/Forensics Team generally competes in the following events: Policy Debate, Public Forum Debate, Value Debate, Original Oratory Speech, Extemporaneous Speech, Student Congress, Humorous Interpretation, Dramatic Interpretation, Prose/Poetry Reading.
Students are required to attend a minimum of two tournaments each semester (most attend more).
The Tiger Forensics Program is also a charter member of the National Forensics League, giving students an opportunity to reap the benefits of national honor society. This gives students the opportunity to qualify for a national tournament, receive special awards and honors, and to wear honor cords at graduation.

EVERYONE can join! There's something for all talents, interests, and abilities.
