Meetings:

There will be periodic after school meetings. The YIG at LSHS also will participate in the annual state convention in December and possibly a few other YIG events.

How to Join:

Attend a meeting and fill out the application form. Information on meetings will be shared through the student bulletin.

 

 

 

Club Description:

Youth in Government provides students a practical civil experience in political decision making. Students can compete in activities such as Mock Congress, Mock Trial, The Press, Publications, Lobbying, and even run for the office of YIG Governor!

Eligibility Requirements:

Any student enrolled at LSHS.
